The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to monitor the implementation of the agreements reached on the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the information bulletin of the Russian Ministry of Defence, this was stated by the deputy head of the ceasefire monitoring centre of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to him, the Russian peacekeepers are ensuring the safe return of our compatriots to Nagorno-Karabakh. From mid-November to date, 52,058 residents have returned to Artsakh.
“From 29 January to today, the passage of a convoy of 9 vehicles of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces through the zone of responsibility of the peacekeeping contingent has been ensured. On 31 January, under the escort of the Russian military police, 16 Armenian pilgrims visited Dadivank from Stepanakert and returned,” the report said.
The Russian engineer-sapper groups continue the search for and destruction of unexploded ordnance. As of today, 973 structures have been checked, more than 247 km of roads, approximately 893 hectares of territory have been cleared, and 23,950 explosive objects have been found and destroyed. The search for missing persons and the bodies of victims continues.
