Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, six patients with serious oncological and cardiovascular diseases were transferred today, 7 February, from the “Republican Medical Center” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh to specialized medical centers of the Republic of Armenia, through the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical institutions operating under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.
In the “Arevik” medical association, 10 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units.
In the “Republican Medical Center,” 9 patients are in the intensive care unit, 3 of whom are in extremely serious condition.
Up to today, a total of 76 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia through the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
