The “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund has announced that, with the aim of alleviating and resolving the problems of families displaced from Artsakh, it has launched an extensive housing construction program in Artsakh.
“In the first phase, it is planned to build 817 houses and 290 apartments, for which an amount equivalent to 58,398,000 US dollars has been allocated in Armenian drams. The said amount was raised through the efforts of the entire Armenian nation within the framework of the ‘We Are Our Borders’ fundraising campaign,” the Fund said in a statement.
Part of the apartments and buildings will be handed over for operation by the end of the year, providing approximately 457 families displaced from Shushi and Hadrut with their own roofs within the communities of Stepanakert and Ivanian.
