A program of housing construction and necessary infrastructure worth around 110 billion drams is to be implemented in Artsakh. The information was announced by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a joint session of the Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh, which was also attended by Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan. The RA Prime Minister’s press service published a video recording of Pashinyan’s speech.
“The proposal is as follows: to implement the program through the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund and to finance the program in the following proportion: at this moment, the fund’s accounts hold around 58 billion drams accumulated from the results of the latest fundraising campaign, and the Armenian government will provide 52 billion drams. That is, we will have a capital of 110 billion drams, with which we will implement the housing construction and necessary infrastructure program,” he noted.
According to Pashinyan, several other decisions were made, through which they must not only fulfill the provision of the “road map” he published on 18 November 2020 regarding the restoration of normal life in Artsakh, but also implement development programs in Artsakh, so that we have sufficient, high progress in socio-economic development:
