The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh; the peacekeepers maintain the ceasefire regime and conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at 27 observation posts.
As stated in the report of the Russian Defense Ministry, the ceasefire regime is maintained along the entire line of contact. Representatives of the Russian peacekeeping contingent ensure the safe movement of citizens and the restoration of civilian infrastructure.
The engineering and sapper groups of the Humanitarian Response Center continue to work on demining the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. In the past day, 15 hectares of territory and 3 km of road have been cleared, 5 explosive objects have been discovered, and 7 structures have been inspected.
Since 23 November 2020, 1,785 hectares of territory, 552 km of road, and 1,625 structures have been cleared of unexploded ordnance, including 30 buildings of social significance; 25,361 explosive objects have been discovered and neutralized.
