We are all aware of the dark fate that befell our sisters and brothers of Artsakh, who were forced to uproot themselves from their ancestral centuries-old hearth, under the heaviest of spirits and in very destitute conditions.
It is also evident that the overwhelming majority of our forcibly displaced kin have a sea of needs that must be addressed immediately and consistently. We cannot, of course, assuage their heart-wrenching grief. We can, however, and we most certainly must, tend to their immediate needs. This is the unquestionable duty of each and every one of us.
Therefore, we must get to work at once, so that we may deliver our assistance as soon as possible and on an ongoing basis. Apart from vital monetary allocations, there is, of course, a great need for clothing and medicine as well. Consequently, it is necessary that, with utmost effort, work be carried out not only by appealing to all members of our immediate community, but also to the goodwill of our compassionate non-Armenian acquaintances.
Now is the time to demonstrate true patriotism in a practical manner.
Let us all face this challenge with honour.
