It has been about three days since Arthur Vanetsyan, the head of the “Homeland” party and the “I Have Honor” faction, has been staging a sit-in at Yerevan’s Freedom Square.
Speaking with journalists this morning, he said that the protest actions will be networked and decentralized.
“We are not demanding exclusively a change of government. We are saying that a change of government must take place so that we achieve the main goal. And our main goal is the security of the homeland,” said the former director of the National Security Service.
Speaking about the situation, the opposition figure emphasized that there have been no incidents, and the night passed peacefully.
“Since they do not allow us to set up a tent, the night is cold,” Vanetsyan complained.
