RA Ministry of Defense spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan has posted a video on his Facebook page with an important call addressed to our compatriots in the diaspora.
“We are confronting the evil and terrorism that threaten the entire world. We have no oil reserves; we have young people who do not spare their lives for the homeland and perform feats of valor. We have no sea, but we have a heroic people who keep our rear strong. And, finally, unlike the enemy, we do not have a population of 10 million in our country, but we have a population of 10 million across the entire world — we have the diaspora. This call of mine is addressed not simply to 10 million Armenians, but to 10 million fighters, to 10 million who spare nothing, and to 10 million victors. I want each one of you to feel that you are fighting as much as we are; I want each one of you to enter your trench and wage your struggle. Every day I receive hundreds and thousands of letters from our compatriots abroad. They ask how they can help — what to send. There is only one way to make that assistance targeted and manageable: donations must be made to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, through himnadram.org, and from the territory of the United States, through the fond.org website.”
“I personally guarantee that any donation made to the fund will serve its purpose many times more effectively. One of the guarantees of victory in this war is a strong rear, and I am confident that you will strengthen it every moment, every moment more. Together we shall win this war. Well then — all of us to our trenches. To work,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in the video.
