Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan received on 24 January a group of doctor-experts who had arrived from Armenia at the invitation of the Artsakh Republic Minister of Health, the Artsakh President’s Office reports.
Presenting the results of the professional discussions held during the visit, the doctor leading the delegation, Aramayis Galumyan, noted that they had been very useful in terms of creating and developing cooperative ties and mechanisms.
According to Galumyan, many leading specialists of the Armenian healthcare system, who are included in the expert council formed for that purpose, will have their participation in the effective resolution of the existing problems of the Artsakh healthcare system.
President Harutyunyan deemed the provision of high-quality healthcare services in Artsakh a matter of vital importance, noting that the government will continue to exert maximum efforts in this direction. He expressed gratitude to the leading specialists of the field for their demonstrated readiness and support, emphasizing their selfless contribution, especially during the days of the war.
Also participating in the meeting were the head of the Artsakh President’s Office, Artak Beglaryan, and the Artsakh Republic Minister of Health, Mikael Hayriyan.
