Armen Smbatyan No Longer Armenia’s Ambassador to Israel

By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, Armen Smbatyan has been recalled from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the State of Israel. We learn this from the presidential decree. “Based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Point 2 of the Constitution, as well as Part 1 of Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service. To recall Armen Smbatyan from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the State of Israel,” the decree states.
