Based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, the President of the Republic of Armenia has signed a decree appointing Armen Yeganyan as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Brazil.
Armen Yeganyan has worked in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia since 1995.
From 2011-2017, he served as Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada. In 2017-2018, he was the head of the “State Protocol Service” agency. From 2018-2022, he served as head of the Political Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and from 2020-2023, as head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Department of American Countries and secretary of the Armenian-American Intergovernmental Commission.
