Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent congratulatory messages to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and to Iran’s President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, on the occasion of the New Year (Nowruz).
In his message addressed to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Nikol Pashinyan expressed the wish that the coming year be marked by “distinctive successes and peace for neighbouring and friendly Iran.”
“Armenian-Iranian relations hold particular significance for Armenia and the Armenian people.
I am hopeful that in the near future we will witness the expansion of the bilateral multifaceted agenda, which will serve as an impetus for the further deepening and growth of our friendly relations, for the benefit of the well-being of the Armenian and Iranian peoples and regional peace,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
In his message addressed to Iran’s President, the Prime Minister of Armenia stated:
“Continuing the unwavering path of cooperation, in the current year we will impart new momentum to the Armenian-Iranian multifaceted agenda, for the benefit of the prosperity of our two peoples and states.”
