The Republic of Armenia is considering scenarios for providing targeted and first-necessity aid to the brotherly people of Lebanon. This was written on his Facebook page by Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“In the aftermath of the explosion at the port of Beirut, the devastation in Armenian-populated areas, as well as throughout Beirut, is extensive: buildings have collapsed, churches have been damaged, and the building of Haigazian University has also been damaged. At present, together with our partners, various scenarios for providing targeted and first-necessity aid to the brotherly people of Lebanon are being considered and assessed,” Naghdalyan wrote.
The spokesperson noted that at this time there is information about three deaths of Armenian ethnicity and about 100 injured, but these numbers, unfortunately, may rise, as the number of missing persons is large.
