Armenia is not a foreign country for us: Putin on Russian companies and citizens relocating to Armenia

We welcome everything that is useful for Russian entrepreneurship. We welcome everything that is useful for Russian entrepreneurship. This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, commenting on the situation in which Russian companies decided to relocate to Armenia.

“If conditions turned out to be such that it is expedient and beneficial for people — and they are mainly IT specialists — to work there, then, for God’s sake, let them work. Armenia is not a foreign country for us, everything is by our side; one can work in Yerevan,” noted the President of Russia.

According to him, if it is more beneficial and convenient for Russians to work there today, then there is nothing extraordinary about it. Moreover, many have already returned, realising that nothing terrible is happening, and everything works and functions despite the sanctions.

“One can work in Yerevan and live in Moscow,” added Putin.
