In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 23 May, a total of 6,302 cases of the novel coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 2,936 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 3,257 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the novel coronavirus disease. In total, 49,080 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 374 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease and 62 recoveries.
In total, 77 deaths from the novel coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 3).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were a 74-year-old man and women aged 86 and 54, and they had underlying chronic diseases.
An additional 4 deaths have been recorded in which the patient tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases has reached 32.
