On 22 May, the enemy attempted an infiltration in the direction of the defense area of one of the Defense Army units, the press service of the Artsakh Republic Ministry of Defense reports.
The Defense Army’s forward units timely detected the advance of Azerbaijani special forces and, inflicting losses, pushed them back to their starting positions. During the ensuing exchange of fire, the Defense Army suffered no losses.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh calls on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from the unpromising tactic of artificially escalating the situation.
Otherwise, the entire responsibility for the tension created on the front line will fall on the Azerbaijani side.
