After the deadly clashes with Azerbaijan, Armenia “found” more support from the United States than from its ally Russia. As reported by “Armenpress,” the American “Fox News” television channel described the situation around Armenia following the latest events in these terms, presenting its interview with the Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, which took place during the Armenian official’s working visit to the United States.
According to Fox News, Armenian officials are “concerned” that Russia continues to supply weapons to Armenia’s adversary, Azerbaijan.
The Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, who had a series of important meetings in the United States last week, including with the US President’s National Security Advisor and senior officials of the Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency, said in a conversation with Fox News that Russia’s supply of weapons to Azerbaijan is “nothing new,” that it is “a long history” that Armenia has raised with Moscow.
“This is public information. Yes, it is true. And it worries us very much. It is nothing new,” said Armen Grigoryan regarding Russian arms supplies to Azerbaijan.
During the interview, the Secretary of the Security Council also spoke about the military attack carried out by Azerbaijan on September 13-14, emphasizing that the international community must take steps and condemn the use of force by Azerbaijan.
