The Armenian side is not slowing down negotiations over the peace treaty. This was stated by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to a query from Sputnik Armenia.
“The Armenian side, as has already been declared, is not suspending negotiations over the peace treaty, proof of which is the transmission of the Armenian side’s proposals regarding the document to the Azerbaijani side last December,” the ministry said.
It was also noted that in January, Baku sent new proposals in response, to which the Armenian side likewise responded.
Let us recall that on 28 February, during a press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Bayramov had declared that Armenia was groundlessly avoiding constructive negotiations with Baku, dealing a serious blow to both the negotiations and the peace process.
