Armenian Sappers Clear 88,000 Square Meters of Land in Aleppo

On Wednesday, March 15, the 11th group of the Republic of Armenia’s humanitarian mission handed over 88,000 square meters of demined land in the Handarat district of Aleppo Province to representatives of the Aleppo Provincial Council. This was reported by Aleppo’s “Gandzasar” weekly newspaper.

It was reported that the handover ceremony of the demined land was attended by the Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Beroea, His Grace Bishop Makar Ashkaryan, representatives of the Aleppo Provincial Council, David Tadeosyan, advisor to the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Aleppo, Colonel Arkady Donoyan of the Republic of Armenia’s humanitarian mission group, representatives of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Aleppo, and members of the National Council of the Armenian Diocese of Beroea.

The representatives of the Aleppo Provincial Council accepted the area demined by the sappers of the Armenian humanitarian mission and signed the corresponding agreement.
