The sappers of the third group of Armenian specialists carrying out a humanitarian mission in Syria, from October 8-30, cleared 1,500 sqm of territory during engineering survey and clearance operations. According to Armenpress.am, Nazeli Elbagyan, the public relations officer of the Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Center, stated that in total, from February 15 to date, the Armenian specialists have cleared 116,000 sqm of territory.
During the same period, the doctors of the humanitarian group provided professional assistance to 688 people. Armenian doctors, in cooperation with Syrian specialists, carried out examinations and medical interventions on sick military personnel and the local civilian population.
Surgical assistance was provided to 39 citizens, 76 people consulted an internal medicine specialist, the number of patients receiving direct treatment is 86, 11 people underwent outpatient examination, gynecologists treated 191, dermatologists 104, and the dentist 13 patients. The Armenian specialists provided support to 108 children. In total, from February 15 to date, medical assistance has been provided to 6,288 citizens.
