Armenia’s economic activity index increased by 14.4 percent in January-November 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to Armenpress, this is evidenced by the data published by the RA Statistical Committee.
The volume of industrial output in January-November of this year increased by 8.4 percent compared to January-November of the previous year. The volume of construction in the 11 months of this year increased by 13.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
In trade turnover, the increase in January-November compared to the same period of 2021 amounted to 16.2 percent.
The volume of services provided in the 11 months of 2022 increased by 28.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
And in January-November of this year, the consumer price index increased by 8.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021. The industrial producer price index in January-November increased by 2.9 percent compared to the 11 months of 2021.
And the volume of electricity generation in January-November increased by 16.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
In foreign trade turnover, a 67.8 percent growth was recorded in January-November 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year, with exports increasing by 75.2 percent and imports by 63.6 percent.
The exchange rate of the dram against the US dollar in January-November averaged 439.40 drams.
