A meeting of the commission coordinating efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia was held in the government, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the RA government.
Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan first addressed the cases of those infected with the coronavirus and the health condition of the infected individuals.
It was reported that in the coming days, Armenia’s healthcare system will be equipped with new equipment, specifically 100 respirators, 60,000 test kits, and other supplies — masks, special medical clothing, goggles, and so on.
Subsequently, issues related to steps aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus, the manageability of the epidemiological problem, and restrictions on movement and economic activity were discussed.
In summary, the Prime Minister instructed that a draft of the relevant decision be presented, taking into account the proposals and observations made during the discussion.
