We read from the “Factor” website: the Prime Minister’s press secretary Mane Gevorgyan and Chief of Staff Eduard Aghajanyan are to become authorized representatives of the “Armenpress” state news agency. The government is to adopt a corresponding decision on this today.
The draft, incidentally, is included in the list of non-reported issues. Moreover, Eduard Aghajanyan is to be the authorized representative for a significant portion of the agency’s shares — 51 percent — and Mane Gevorgyan for 49 percent.
It should be noted that under the current decision, 50 percent of “Armenpress” shares belong to the director of the “Public Relations and Information Center” SNCO of the Prime Minister’s staff, with 25 percent each belonging to the press secretary of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the head of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government Staff of the Republic of Armenia.
