The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, joining the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, launched on March 18 the online fundraising campaign “COVID-19 Armenia: Together We Will Overcome the Pandemic,” the entire sum collected within which was directed toward the acquisition and provision of high-quality medical supplies and equipment needed by the healthcare sector, as well as other needs of urgent necessity. The program is being carried out in close cooperation with the President of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

As of July 22, approximately $800,030 USD has been collected, of which $695,244 USD has already been directed toward the acquisition of large-scale medical supplies and equipment, financial support for emergency medical personnel, the monthly provision of food to needy elderly in Yerevan and the regions, as well as the return of numerous compatriots to Armenia.

In addition to the support provided to the healthcare sector, thanks to the Fund’s local bodies, large quantities of medical supplies and equipment have already been donated to the healthcare sectors of Armenia and Artsakh.

The remaining sum will also be directed toward supporting healthcare sector programs.

The Fund expresses its deep gratitude to the more than 1,000 individual donors from 18 countries around the world, to Armenian communities worldwide, organizations, the Fund’s entire network, and all partners for their trust and continued support.
