As of 11:00 on 28 July, a total of 37,629 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 27,357 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 9,330 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 158,527 tests have been conducted.
Thus, we have 239 newly confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 692 recoveries.
Eight new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 719).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were aged 89 (female), 54 (female), 63 (male), 85 (male), 64 (male), 74 (male), 62 (male) and 89 (male). All had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two more deaths were recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 223.
