By the Prime Minister’s decision, Arshak Karapetyan has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense. This was announced by e-gov.am.
“Guided by Article 9, Part 1 of the Republic of Armenia’s Law on Public Service, Arshak Karapetyan is appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense,” the Prime Minister’s decision states.
It should be noted that the President had earlier signed a decree, according to which Arshak Karapetyan was relieved of his post as First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Ministry of Defense.
We recall that in this connection, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had addressed a proposal to the President.
