Dear compatriots, I wish to inform you that I have submitted a request to be relieved of the post of Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh, which, of course, does not mean that I am “freeing” myself from the personal responsibility I bear in the cause of ensuring Artsakh’s security. This is what Arshavir Gharamyan wrote on his Facebook page.
“I have devoted my entire life to the national liberation struggle of our homeland, and I have used every possible opportunity to make my modest contribution to the cause of ensuring our common security. I assure you that, regardless of office or status, I shall continue my mission. I have said on several occasions that nothing prevents a person from being useful to his homeland, regardless of how many opportunities he has, in which field he can be useful, or what status he holds. I have lived and continue to live by that principle. We still have much to do to bring our struggle to its conclusion and to pass our victories on to the generations. My friends and I consider this the mission of our lives; we have lived and shall live by that conviction, we have worked and shall work by that logic,” he wrote.
