The news that an employee of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s security service has been infected with the coronavirus does not correspond to reality. This was stated on 12 May during a conversation with NEWS.am by the prime minister’s press spokesperson Mane Kevorkyan, referring to a publication in the press that the coronavirus had been confirmed in one of the security service employees.
“If you need additional information, you can contact the leadership of the State Protection Service,” she said.
In response to the observation that the press is writing that the coronavirus has also been confirmed in one of the employees of the personnel administration of the prime minister’s staff, Mane Kevorkyan replied: “Every time they come to work, their temperature is measured at the entrance, and one of the employees had a fever, has been tested, and we are waiting for the test result. Their circle of contacts has also been established — it is 1 employee, who is currently in isolation.”
