Arthur Javadyan, the former chairman of Armenia’s Central Bank, has been appointed ambassador at large. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed the corresponding decision on 16 June, and it was published on the government’s official website e-gov.am.
Javadyan had been chairman of the Central Bank since 2008, and his term of office came to an end this week.
The Central Bank is now headed by Martin Galstyan, who was elected by the National Assembly two months ago.
