The hearing on the pre-trial measure for Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia party and its parliamentary faction, is to take place on 17 June at 19:00.
This was stated during a conversation with journalists inside the National Assembly by Ivetta Tonoyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction:
“The court session is to take place this evening at 19:00 at the Shengavit court,” said Tonoyan.
The investigator’s motion to select detention as the pre-trial measure is to be examined by Judge Robert Papoyan.
It is known that the motion to select detention as a pre-trial measure for Tsarukyan has been assigned to Robert Papoyan, judge of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction. Gagik Tsarukyan has been charged under the features of Part 2 of Article 154.2 of the RA Criminal Code, for giving electoral bribes.
