On April 5, at approximately 5:30 PM, a soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army, Arayik Robert Shakhbazyan, born in 2000, was wounded by enemy fire at a guard post of one of the military units deployed in the eastern direction of the Artsakh Defense Army. This was reported by the press service of the Artsakh Republic Ministry of Defense.
The wounded soldier was immediately transported to a military hospital; his condition is assessed as satisfactory. An investigation is being conducted to clarify the details of the incident.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh calls on the opposing side to refrain from provocative actions and declares that in the event of further escalation of the situation, the entire responsibility for the consequences will fall on the Azerbaijani side.
