The Artsakh Defense Army reports that on 1 October, in the southern section of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone, in the Varazatumb (Lele Tepe) area, Defense Army units downed an enemy combat helicopter, which crashed in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh declares that the aforementioned contains no intentionality, and since the military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan are proceeding very close to the Iranian border, unfortunately, such incidents are inevitable,” the statement said.
