«Armenpress» — The Voluntary National Report of the Artsakh Republic on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals included in the UN’s “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” has been circulated as an official document at the United Nations Organization (UN).
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic, the report is a summary document presenting the policy pursued by the Artsakh authorities to build a democratic state on the basis of the right of the Artsakh people to self-determination and to ensure economic, social and cultural development.
The report presents information on the progress recorded in the implementation of specific goals in the areas of sustainable development, despite serious security challenges posed by Azerbaijan, as well as threats to the physical existence of the population of the Artsakh Republic.
The national report was prepared at the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic and approved by the National Council for Sustainable Development of Artsakh.
