On 28 September, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, and the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, visited the army’s combat command centre to familiarise themselves with the ongoing and possible future developments of the military operations along the entire line of contact between the Artsakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.
“The Commander of the Defence Army of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Artsakh, Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan, presented the operational-tactical situation and addressed all the processes being carried out by the units of the Defence Army in the direction of withstanding the Azerbaijani attack.
The army commander assured that the situation is fully controlled by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Artsakh, and that favourable opportunities have been created to further develop the successes recorded,” the statement of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia said.
