Azerbaijan has again blocked the operation of the only gas pipeline entering Artsakh from Armenia.
It should be noted that on 15 February, Azerbaijan had partially restored gas supply from Armenia to Artsakh, but, as announced by the Artsakh information headquarters, shortly afterwards, gas supply was once again suspended.
“In the coming days, gas stations will be supplied with the very limited amount of gas available, after which their operation will also cease. With such behaviour, Azerbaijan, by connecting and then immediately blocking the gas supply from Armenia to Artsakh during the cold winter weather and at night-time hours, aims to create problems and emergencies. We ask that you be vigilant and observe safety rules,” was stated in the emergency announcement.
