15 German Police Officers to Monitor Armenian-Azerbaijani Border

In total, around 100 men and women will take part in the European Union mission, which is led by Germany’s federal police.

The European Union observer mission is to begin monitoring the Armenian-Azerbaijani border area next Monday. Its stated purpose is to follow the maintenance of the ceasefire with the help of unarmed patrols.

It was earlier reported that eight police officers from France would be included in the mission.
