Azerbaijani forces, on 12 July, attempted to breach the Armenian border from the Tavush direction and, meeting resistance, were pushed back.
This information was reported by the press secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan.
Stepanyan also wrote that Armenian forces opened fire only after issuing a warning to the forces attempting to cross the border for the second time, and the adversary, suffering losses, left the area.
