The other day “Ramgavar Mamoul” received an open letter bearing the signature of Dr. Zaven Yekavyan, one of the ADL’s trusted comrades.
Yekavyan came forward with an “Open Letter,” titling it “For What It Is,” and our editorial board, having read and highly appreciated our comrade’s approaches, decided to publish the piece, giving it the headline “What Happened Is an Unrestrained and Unacceptable Violation,” which characterizes the situation.

Recently I became aware of a statement published by the ADL “Supreme Council,” which addresses the situation prevailing in Armenia in the face of the “Corona” virus pandemic and the political crisis that has arisen alongside it.
Regardless of the content of the statement, I want to inform all competent circles that a gross legal violation has been committed against my person by this statement.
The statement was circulated on letterhead prepared by the aforementioned group, bearing an official appearance, on which are listed the names of the persons constituting that same group, and to my astonishment, the list also includes my name, without my knowledge and consent.
This unrestrained impertinence is an intolerable and crudest violation, first against my person, and then against the legitimacy of my party affiliation.
Throughout my entire membership in the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party, I have not been aware of a body named the “Supreme Council,” however, through statements repeatedly issued by the ADL Central Board, I have recently been informed of the illegal and self-styled “aspirations” of a fictitious and false “body,” therefore I absolutely do not permit my name to be tainted by fraud, by associating it with that ugly illegality.
I recognize one supreme governing body of the ADL — the ADL Central Board, which currently operates under the chairmanship of Comrade Mike Kharapyan, and I have no connection with, nor do I wish to have any connection with, any illegal body.
Therefore I demand that this falsification be put to an end immediately, also demanding that, without delay, my name be removed from the list of that “body.”
