“Soon the Azerbaijani side will no longer use the Karmir Shuka-Shushi road.”
This was stated by Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan during an online press conference.
The minister emphasized that the Azerbaijanis are displaying insolent behavior on the road sections and noted that they are carrying out additional work, particularly to raise the level of security on those roads.
According to Beglaryan, quite a lot of work has been done and is being done, which is not even visible, given the security issues and the nuances of their external, political dimension.
“At this moment, it is primarily the Russian peacekeepers who ensure security, and by and large we have seen that it has been ensured; of course, there have been minor incidents, episodes, to which the Russian side has responded to some extent. Our armed forces are also carrying out preventive work, of which people are simply unaware, and no one learns about prevented incidents either; they cannot even imagine what would have happened had those incidents not been prevented,” the State Minister said.
