Azerbaijani side, without explanation, bans search operations

The State Service of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Artsakh has announced that search operations have been suspended indefinitely; since 15 February no search operations have been carried out. The Azerbaijani side, without explanation, has again today banned the conduct of rescue-search operations in settlements outside Artsakh’s control. This is the first time since the ceasefire that searches have been halted for such a long period. It should be noted that to date the remains of a total of 1,485 military and civilian persons have been discovered.
