The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh, pursuing the implementation of the functions and powers vested in it by law in the field of information security, through continuous monitoring of the internet domain and other measures, has uncovered multiple cases of attempts by Azerbaijani special services to gather information regarding the consequences of the blockade of the Republic of Artsakh. The Artsakh NSS reported this.
Using fake accounts opened in the names of citizens of the Republic of Artsakh and Facebook pages to which they have gained penetration capability and access, the Azerbaijani special services, by sending various questions or making posts in Facebook groups, are trying to collect information about food, missing essential goods, and humanitarian aid in the Republic of Artsakh.
“We ask and urge you to refrain from public discussions and providing information on issues related to the internal and external security of the Republic of Artsakh on social networks.
In case of receiving questions or calls pursuing such purposes or encountering such posts, we ask you to contact the National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh or call the hotline numbers 047-94-41-26 and 41-26,” the NSS statement said.
