Banning MPs’ Entry to Artsakh Contradicts Trilateral Statement: RA Foreign Ministry

Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement expressing concern that Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh did not allow a group of deputies of Armenia’s National Assembly to enter Artsakh. “The aforementioned action contradicts the trilateral statement of 9 November 2020, which provides for the uninterrupted connection of Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia through the Lachin corridor. All parties to the statement must strictly adhere to its letter and spirit, as well as fulfil the obligations they have undertaken,” the statement said.
