The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Canadian Parliament will hold hearings this week regarding the blockade of the Lachin Corridor. According to Armenpress, this was announced by Garnett Genuis, a member of the Canadian House of Commons.
“Conservative members of the Canadian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs are working with other opposition parties to convene urgent hearings on the blockade of the Lachin Corridor in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh),” the MP wrote on his Twitter page.
Garnett Genuis attached to his post a message from another MP, Stéphane Bergeron, according to which, on the initiative of members of the Bloc Québécois party and with the support of the Conservatives and the New Democrats, an extraordinary session and discussion will take place within the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs “regarding the blockade by Azerbaijan of the corridor connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.”
