Commandant’s decision sets new list of countries whose citizens are barred from entering Armenia

By the decision of the commandant declared under the state of emergency announced in Armenia to prevent the spread of the “Corona” virus, a list of countries (territories) with a tense epidemiological situation has been established.

By the Government’s decision on declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia, it is stipulated that entry into the territory of the Republic of Armenia is prohibited for persons who do not hold citizenship of the Republic of Armenia and who enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia from countries included in the list of countries with a tense epidemiological situation established by the commandant’s decision, or who have been in those countries during the 14 days preceding their entry. Exceptions to this rule are representatives of diplomatic missions, consular institutions and international organizations, and members of their families.

The decision enters into force on 23 March 2020 at 23:59.
