The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Artsakh has submitted a petition regarding the conferral of the highest title of “Hero of Artsakh” upon Commander Armenak Urfanyan, who fell heroically during the April War; this was announced on his Facebook page by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan.
“There have been numerous discussions over time about Armenak Urfanyan’s selfless and patriotic conduct. To honour his heroic image as it deserves, I believe this will be the best decision for the Republic of Artsakh on this day.
I confirm this with love and pride,” stated Harutyunyan.
