As of 11:00 on 2 June, a total of 10,009 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 3,427 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 6,368 infected individuals are receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 59,917 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 517 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 25 recoveries.
Today, 19 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 158).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 80, 53, 64, 80, 82, 75, 58, 69, 57, 79, 63, 69, 75 and women aged 81, 50, 74, 86, 60, 61. Except for the last one, all had accompanying chronic diseases.
One more death was recorded in which the patient had a confirmed coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 56.
