As of 11:00 on 5 June, a total of 11,817 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 3,513 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 8,052 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 65,161 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 596 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 45 recoveries.
Seven new deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (the total number of deaths reached 183).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 72, 78, 72 and women aged 69, 59, 33, 61. All had accompanying chronic diseases.
One more death was recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but the cause of death was another disease. The total number of such cases is 69.
