Forty-eight new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Armenia. This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
As of 11:00 on 16 April, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia is 1,159, with 18 deaths recorded (one additional death). Of the tests conducted, 9,632 have returned negative results.
The number of patients recovered from the coronavirus has increased by 61, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 358. At this time, 783 patients are receiving treatment.
