In Armenia, as of 11:00 on 12 May, a total of 3,538 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 1,430 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 2,042 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 33,313 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 146 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 71 recoveries.
In total, 47 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 1).
The RA Ministry of Health announced that the deceased patient was an 82-year-old woman who had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two more deaths have been recorded in which patients tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death resulted from another illness. The total number of such cases is 19.
