State of Emergency Declared in Artsakh Over COVID-19 Extended

Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on 11 May extending the state of emergency declared in the Artsakh Republic on 12 April 2020 and amending the decree of the President of the Artsakh Republic of 12 April 2020. Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on 11 May extending the state of emergency declared in the Artsakh Republic on 12 April 2020 and amending the decree of the President of the Artsakh Republic of 12 April 2020. This was reported by the Main Information Department of the Office of the President of the Artsakh Republic.

Taking into account that the state of emergency caused by the new coronavirus disease in the Artsakh Republic continues to threaten the life and health of the population and may lead to the disruption of normal conditions of people’s activities, the state of emergency declared in the Artsakh Republic from 12 April to 12 May has been extended for 30 days, until 11 June 2020, inclusive, at 22:00.
